We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were really friendly and the room was comfortable, they also provided us with free PJs for our stay. The room was a bit small so there's not much privacy when someones in the toilet room. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, different soup everyday with bread. The location was pretty good as well, just 10-15 mins to the downtown area or the subway station is also nearby.More

The staff is very helpful trying to accommodate our need. A handy mobile phone was provided during ourvstay which make it really convenient for us. The loft room is a great surprise to us too. Our girls especially liked the beddings at the loft. The Apple TV in the room is a fabulous addition for our stay. Overall a must-stay at Otaru! Thank you for having us!

We loved our stay with Unwind Great location lovely staffs and loved design concept. Small little things.(pajama was ♡).

Unwind most definitely lives up to its name and slogan. It really offers the charm of a ski lodge and the comfort of a home.
You instantly feel welcome by the multilingual receptionists that brings refreshments during the smooth check-in procedure. While the hotel is quite small the rooms are roomy yet cosy and warm. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but instead a very nice ski lodge bar on the upper floor where one can "unwind" while enjoying drinks and deserts. The hotel is very close to the restaurant district and if you don't already have a place in mind the hotel staff have a list of options for most tastes and budgets.
Some guests may stop here on the way to/from Niseko and it is then good to know that the Hokkaido Resort Liner has an official bus stop just outside (on the opposite side of the street Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu) and the airport shuttle's stop at Nakajima park is only a couple of minutes away.
Finally, the traditional Hokkaido breakfast served in the room is worth a stay in itself. Hot soup (sort of gulash style) with freshly baked bread, coffee and juice. Not much but definitely enough.
