It was billed as a 5* hotel, with a hotspring, but I think it was only so-so.
- Rooms were big, with a huge bathroom.
- Nice view of Sapporo city and the mountains.
- Not your traditional onsen. Essential 5 - 6 big pools of water of varying temperatures. Their outdoor onsen was a joke.
- One of our rooms (we had 2 rooms) faced the lake, but with the ac on heater mode only, had to open the window for ventilation and cool the room. Problem is that the sun rises around 5 am, and there were paddlers in the lake at 430 am, so had to wake up with the paddlers if you are a light sleeper, and my wife is a light sleeper.More
