The restaurant is voted 33 out of 50 in Asia by some UK magazine and although they have an extensive menu, we can't see what the fuss is all about. Perhaps it is a good choice in Hangzhou for the local favourite, Beggar's chicken (do pre-order as they only make a limited few a day) and dong po rou (as pictured) is very tasty. But apart from that, the food is rather bland and unadventurous. The dessert menu is limited but otherwise, well done. Soups are a hit and miss. Try it, but don't fret if you don't get a chance. Reasonable prices (compared to Shanghai). And the wine buffet is a nice attraction.
