I could not be more impressed with the quality of the 5 tapas dishes we ordered; some of the best Spanish food I've ever had. It is a bit pricey by China standards (though cheaper than similar restaurants in the US or Europe), and the service is as bad as anywhere else, but the food is worth it. We went at about 7pm and there were plenty of seats.

5 tapas proved to be a little more than was necessary to absolutely stuff 2 people. 3 would have been sufficient, and 4 more than, but we wanted to try several different things.

We live in Hangzhou and save La Pedrera for special occasions. It has never disappointed. We go in the evening and make reservations though generally it has not been crowded. The service can be uneven but is always polite and pleasantand the quiet ambiance is a nice respite from other llocal restaurants. Everything we have ordered has been excellent.

Went for lunch. The only table. Good and creative tapas. Poor service (non existing) and no English skills at all. The main course Cod fish was so old and smelly we could not touch. Too scared to get sick.

I Went to pedrera for an anniversary meal and i can honestly say it blew me away! Firstly, there gin and tonics are the best i have had and they make them with such class, they have a number of very nice Gin's and they serve each of them with a different fusion - my Hendricks which was fused with rose petals and cucumber - it was exceptional!

All we ate at the restaurant was Tapas and it was made to a very very high standard. I have been to many restaurants in Spain being from Europe and i can honestly say the food here rivals what i have eaten when traveled to Spain.

As the food was so good and we had such a great experience the first time we ate there we decided to go for a second week for a date night and spoke to the head chef. He explained where he went to chef school and the inspiration behind the menu and also his love for food. This is a very nice restaurant where the people behind the scenes will always make a point to recommend a dish.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat here in Hangzhou for its atmosphere and food. The only down-side was when we were sat up stairs we were given great service to begin with but after all our food was served we didn't see our waiter again until he asked if we wanted any deserts as the kitchen was closing and i then had to find someone to pay the bill... (A very small down side with a place like this though)

That being said though, it didn't taint our experience at all. Some people may not like this, but i have learnt not to be so picky here in China especially when you have a place which is so authentic with its food! All in all both times i went was an absolute pleasure and i will be back again.

Went for lunch. It was quiet. No one else. Excellent service. Food was tasty. Toasted bread with tomatoes was particularly delicious. Seafood paella was tasty. Definitely would recommend among limited western restaurants in Hangzhou.
