“great food.”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

the line to eat here is massive! But that's a great sign right? Well not always in China. But here the line was very much worth it. The food is cooked to a high standard. The presentation is great and as for value you cant go wrong!!

I have eaten at other restaurants that cost 3 times as much and are three times as bad, not going to name any names but trust me when i say you will not be sorry about eating here!

Great Chinese food with western twists. Great concept dishes and a great night. What more could a man ask for :)

“Cheap & cheerful with great food”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

Went there without knowing at all what to expect. The queue almost put us off. Busy restaurants are always a good sign though. Stuck with it cos didn't have any other plans lol... They have English menu, lots of simple expat-friendly dishes. We had a table which seemed to be built on a bridge in the middle of a lake/ river.. Quite nice. Loved it!

“Disappointed”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Through the tripadvisor I found 4 restaurants in Hangzhou which reviewers recommended. I thoroughly enjoyed my meals at 3 of them; Zhiweiguan, Wai Po Jia and Xin Bai Lu. Unfortunately Green Tea was a great disappointment. As commented by another disappointed reviewer, there was a wide selection of random stuff on the menu and none came up to scratch. The food was so plain that it should not be served in restaurant. The service was poor too. They served half of our order and forgot about us. We had to repeatedly remind them of our order before getting the rest of our meal. They served 3 other tables food ahead of us even though we arrived and ordered way before those tables. This is one restaurant that I definitely will not recommend.

“Worth the queues”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

I was surprised about how busy this restaurant was, it is out of town by the tea museum. People were queueing outside when we left. I particularly enjoyed the tea cakes, the black mushroom with pork and the roast pork. I can see why this place is so busy as it is really tasty, fast service and cheap.
