This tea house is horrible, unfriendly and distrustful service. It is crowded and noisy, and we got a private room with view on the escalators. Not very good atmosphere for a relaxing cup of tea.
But the worst is that at the entrance, they told us that our two daughters (11 and 9) would be charged half price. When seated however, they started making a fuss on how my elder one is too tall. They pretended she is more than 140 cm! I know very well my daughter (half chinese and the smallest in her class) is definitely not 140cm tall. They even took her in another room to measure her and kept pretending she is taller. You can imagine how we felt.
Qing teng teahouse, if you want to rip off white people, you can be more subtle and less rude than this. We left without even ordering, never again!
