Spent 6 nights here as a couple in a twin room. Great place!! Clean room, decent bathroom (although it had the typical "gross Chinese bathroom smell"), but it was a bit odd there was a frosted window in the bathroom which meant you could see the silhouette of your travel mate from the bedroom area . . . kind of awkward.
Anyway, hostel was great: friendly staff, fun dumpling-making party one night, and an outdoor yummy BBQ party another night... Free food! Staff friendly, Reception/Common area not really for meeting others or hanging out... But the restaurant/bar was nice, and had a singer/guitarist every night, which was pleasant.
Some of the fastest wifi in-room we've gotten in China...although the last day and a half all the signals seemed to drop out completely, and the front desk guy said they hadn't paid the bill!?
Location wasn't the best, as there weren't many restaurants around, and we walked-walked-walked a LOT to get any place of interest (and we usually walk a lot and don't have a problem with it.)More
