I still cannot quite work out why I felt this way. Our visit hapened to coincide with a visit by Mohammed Karzai.That meant the crowds all surged in at the same time. It is a remarkable collection and the 87 year old farmer who discovered the warriors was signing copies of books so I guess that is pretty amazing when I think about it. After all it is one of the wonders of the world IThe setting for the large hangers that house the warriors is rather beautiful surrounded by hills which are quite a welcome change to the super expansive delta areas of the really whopping cities.
