I stayed for almost whole week, the staff here are really helpful and with best training and skills. Rooms are clean and comfortable. the only problem was the bad traffic outside.

Everywhere was crowded in the old city.

Room Tip: rooms on higher floor are quieter and with better sunshine.

Excellent food, satisfactory for a short stay. Hotel clean and in good location. Two night stay as part of a tour.
Found bathroom rather a strange set up! Shower cubicle leaked all over bathroom floor.

This hotel is within the Old City walls and walking distance to the Bell and Drum Towers, the Wall and great downtown restaurants. The Hotel has a very comfortable lounge area with a happy hour for drinks with friends. The breakfast is complete and serves western food but why not go out for the excellent Shangxi cuisine? The staff are very friendly and most speak English. The only down side is that the beds are a little firm.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Not a bad hotel, the rooms are dated and haven't been refreshed in a decade or two, apart from this the hotel was clean. I didn't like the open plan room and the toilet and shower was in little cubby holes with frosted glass. Bed was too hard for my liking.

The entrance lobby and bars are warm and welcoming but the bizarre open plan room cum bathroom is not inclined to provide any privacy. The hotel was central within the City walls and had a comfortable bed and efficient shower but I wouldn't recommend this because of the room layout. Breakfast was interesting and wide ranging.
