We had stayed at this hotel 9 years ago when it had a different name. This time, we were visiting Xi'an for a week. We picked the hotel because of its location. Evidently, we had forgotten it is a big, touristy-place. The room was small; the beds were rock hard (ask for an extra feather quilt and double it up on the mattress which makes it passable). In one room we had, the carpeting was dingy; in the other room, the safe door was bent and the safe did not work. The corner room we had first was somewhat smaller than the other room we had when we returned at the end of our trip. Breakfast was just OK. We ate the buffet dinner one night, which was OK. The hot-pot was good, but nothing to write home about. The lobby bar was a nice place to relax. No hassles. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I think if we were to travel to Xi'an again, I would pick another hotel, however.More
