We spent 4 days on a private tour with Frank, who was the most resourceful, knowledgeable, friendly tour guide we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Frank made sure we saw everything that was on our itinerary and explained in great detail what we were seeing and helped us to understand it’s importance in Chinese life and culture. Frank made our trip to Guilin so enjoyable. We laughed a lot and he was very attentive to our needs. I couldn’t suggest Frank’s services strongly enough. He is a diamond.

Review of: Private: One-Day Li River Hiking Tour
国慶節の連休に、桂林のハイキングツアーに参加しました。ツアーは8時にホテルで待ち合わせをし、そのあと、Li River沿の村まで移動し、川沿いを一日中歩きました。国慶節なので、車の移動はかなり時間がかかりましたが、ハイキングコースは人も少なく、ゆったりと桂林の素晴らしい景色を楽しむことができました。常にケアをしてくれていた、ツアーガイドのGaryに感謝します！
During this Chinese National holidays, I joined the Guilin Hiking Tour. Our Tour started at 8am and we moved to the small village near the Li River, and we walked almost all day through the hiking course. Because of the national holidays, the traffic was always jammed and took much time, but there were not much people on the hiking course, so we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery in Guilin. I really would like to say thank you to our guide Gary.

We just returned from a 3 week private tour with China Highlights. We visited many beautiful and interesting cultural, historical and scenic places, and our travel advisor, Lily Guo, made the experience seamless. In Guilin, Henry was our tour guide. He was very personable and helpful, and understood our group’s sense of humor. His English and personal knowledge of Guilin and Yangshou were exemplary. We especially enjoyed the Li River cruise seeing the natural beauty of the Karst Mountains, as well as the Rice Terraces and Reed Flute Cave. Thank you Henry for sharing your beautiful scenery with us and making this part of our trip so enjoyable!

We had a fantastic experience in Guilin and Yangshuo, which included a day trip to the Longji Rice Terraces. Our guide, Henry, was knowledgeable and imparted his knowledge about both the history and the culture of China in a way that gave us a deeper understanding of this amazing country. The entire day for the Longji portion of our trip went so smoothly because of Henry and his driver (sorry, but I never could get the hang of his name, much less spell it). They were well organized, picking us up promptly at our hotel and getting us to our destination safely. During the drive, Henry told us what to expect, gave us the history of the area, told us about the culture of the minority communities that settled the area and how the area came to be settled.
