I went to the resort with my mom who is 84 years old. When I found out there is no bathtub in the bathroom, I called the front desk and asked a plastic stool for my mom to sit in the shower. At the time I didn't think we could get one, but I had to ask for my mom's sake. To my surprise they got us a small plastic chair, probablly from the children's play room. They try very hard to serve their guests.

It was our first club med experience. Definitely enjoyed our 7 days stay.
Staffs are Great and Fun and are all energetic as well.
Had a great time doing the mountain bike with Kutut.
Jason and Alice at the archery are friendly and cheerful we were there every day even it is cold and windy.
Tobey & Wilbert at the rock climbing is very encouraging and attentive as we attempt our 1st rock climbing experience.
Not forgetting Nigel at the golfing as well as he made us feel at home.
Finally, Lena at the excursion center was friendly and always full of energy.
We were so filled with all the activities almost every day but Yoga is helping us to relax our body and minds. The Yoga teacher has a calm and cool voice and composure.
A pity that my wife had requested a birthday surprise the night before for me which did not materialize but some chocolate was delivered to our room on the actual day just before when we are checking out.
All is good and nice with one improvement suggestion is that for tour excursion to confirm weather conditions before dispatching us. Luckily our tour driver checked with the agency on the way out that day. And found out that the Li river tour had to be canceled due to windy weather, resulting us turning back else we will be wasting our trip there.

We will plan to go back to Club Med again !!

Club Med Guilin is a nice change from the other beach themed Club Meds in South East Asia - in a vast area with gorgeous views of mountains. The openness of the resort automatically makes you feel relaxed upon arrival. Although places within the resort are located far from each other, there are buggy services (or you can also walk if you fancy some exercise).

As with all Club Meds, there are loads of activities for all ages, from archery, golf, trapeze, various sports, and events every day to keep everyone occupied. One great activity to try is the rock climbing at the natural rock formations of the mountains.

The service at this Club Med is top notch.All the G.O. were friendly and their energy levels were very high. The head of the resort personally greeted us and we always saw him around welcoming guests. The G.O.s were very helpful and gave us tips on activities to do within and out of the resort.

The buffet spread for all meals were generous. For those who want a change of scenery in terms of food, book your meals at the other restaurants - Mongolian or Lotus. Please note that the restaurants do not open every day, and reservations can only be made in the morning of the day itself. I would recommend trying the Mongolian restaurant (bbq and steamboat) if you are able to. The Lotus restaurant serves western fare.

One travel tip is to avoid visiting this Club Med during peak holiday season in China, especially the "Golden Week" in October and "Chinese New Year" in January/February. We visited a few weeks after the Golden Week and it was very enjoyable as there were less people - we rarely had to wait for our turn for activities, buggy, food etc.

All in all a great place for a family vacation as it caters to all ages yet allowed for family bonding time.

The staffs were friendly, they were approachable and patience. The food had mix variety spread. The Mongolia Restaurant with the BBQ and the Chinese Lotus Restaurant need to make reservation. The resort was not crowded with tourists, a relaxing place. Most of the tourists here were local China people from different town. We were here for 3 nights and had enjoyed every minute of it, especially the sport activities. There was motorized cart moving round the resort, you can wait outside the building or make a call for them to fetch you.

My fiancé arranged a 3-day stay at Club Med Guilin with family for celebrating my birthday. It was our first club med experience and it was a great and memorable stay. We experienced a variety of sports and activities here and the one my family liked the most is ARCHERY!! Alice and Jason are so friendly and have sense of humour and made us to engage in and enjoy this sport very much. We went to archery field everyday and we were so happy that we could find a sport that the whole family like to play with. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to the GO Team, who are incredibly amazing and make us always feel welcomed. Thanks GO Team for giving a big b-day surprise to me cooperating with my fiancé. Thank you all for making this trip a special one. Me and my family had a great time here.

We travelled as a couple to Club Med Guilin in mid July for 3 days 2 nights. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, while the buffet lunches were fine. One major highlight of the trip was meeting Miranda at lunch, who then went to recommend the Mongolian bbq and Lotus Restaurant to us for dinner. We showed interest, and when we later returned to book the bbq for the evening’s dinner, we realised Miranda had taken the initiative to already make us a booking. Well recommended, and we had a great Mongolian bbq experience. Another highlight of our trip was definitely the sport GO’s who made the experience well rounded. We met Dylan in the after party on our first night, who greeted us and introduced us to Nikki. We had so much fun dancing and chatting all night and they gave us recommendations for the coming 2 days. For the next 2 days, we were busy trying to do all the sports and activities, with our favourites being trapeze, golf, and rock climbing. Special thanks to Sport GOs for really trying to make us feel welcomed, and make the sports more engaging. We really enjoyed the chats and drinks with Dylan, Miranda, and Nikki, who made this trip memorable and special.

這次去桂林的clubmed真的有點失望，剛好碰正是國慶假期，所以客人非常多，可能是這個關係，用了很多part time 員工，所以有些員工禮貌特別差，幸得一班kids club的正式員工，如Gilbert 哥哥，Lily姐姐，Jully姐姐，Kevin這些員工很用心的跟孩子玩和照顧她們，令到整個假期才不白浪費，孩子亦非常開心！

I went to the Guilin Club Med with my parents and my little sister. Once I saw all the activities I could do, I was so excited for this holiday to start. At the Mini Club, I met Lily. I started off by playing with her, then I got some friends. At the 8:15 show, I saw Gilbert, that was where I met him. For Archery, parties and when we were in the backstage getting ready for the show, almost all the girls including me, kept on playing with him. As for Lily, we did art together with other kids while others went swimming. Also at the Mini Club, there was Jully and Alfredo. One time at the Mongolian restaurant, Alfredo opened a bottle of water then said this table is a magic table, so he set the bottle of water on the spinning thing on the middle of the table. Then he span the spinning thing and then the water fell down. Jully, on the other hand, was pouring a cup of water, and when she finished, she forgot to close the cap of the bottle of water then when she bent down the water spilled out of the bottle. I think the G.O.'s are really funny and nice. I also liked the Trapeze a lot. It was a great experience in the Guilin Club Med!
