The entry fee of 75RMB/person is expensive for this park. The zoo is more expensive to see the pandas. We did see some wild monkeys which was cool but basically wasted 2 hours on nothing.

This is basically a huge park, and as others have mentioned, different attractions have additional fees. I would not rank this high up in the things to do in Guilin. Visit if you are at a loose end.

It is a nice place to walk and escape people, due to the very high price for a Chinese park 15 USD range However, a waste of money for western tourists, this park is designed to make money from Chinese tourists. The few interesting things like Peacocks or other interesting things charge you extra, 'nickles and dims'! The zoo is really bad, dirty cages and animals, the pandas are caged individually. You can buy a ticket that does not include 'the crying room' aka zoo. This park would only be worth visiting if you had to be in the Guilin city area for a business conference and were at a loose end. If you contact lenses were dry, you could go to the zoo to start some tears. I suggest looking for bloggers or specialists tour providers to more interesting places or ancient towns. If my review is useful please tick the box. Thank you so much!

I am surprised to read so many good reviews about this park.
We went there and found it quite common.
The only special element is a bridge from the Ming dynasty, a very simple bridge but yes historically interesting. Otherwise a simple park with local people signing and dancing Thai Chi (as in almost all parks in China).
We can see a few nice hills typical from this region (Camel back shaped) but we can also see them from outside of the park for free...
I didn't find it worth the high price.

Actually this park is not really great as its fame, but it is still a good place for someone to visit when coming to Guilin
