other than the so called hill, everything else here is enjoyable.
the park, the walks, the sign boards for guilin arts and crafts and specially the Chinese wine company showroom are really good.

“Worth the Climb”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

An excellent view is the reward for the long, steep and fairly narrow climb to the top of Elephant Trunk Hill. Quite hazy the day we were there but still a good view all the same.

A place for a good photo opportunity. Be prepared for lots of tourists. Plenty of vendors. We did not spend a lot of time here.

“Small hill on the river”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

This hill with a hole which may look like an elephant is located on the edge of the river. The park around it is small but good for walks around pretty scenery. It has an entrance fee which is not really worth paying and is free after 6 p.m. The hill can be viewed from another spot free of charge. Some people even climb the hill.
Small concerts are held in the grounds during festivals etc. It is also famous for ground red chilly paste which is widely sold in the park.
