Owner description: Resembling an elephant drinking water from the Li River with its long trunk, this hill towers more than 55 meters above the water.

The park is quite small and whilst the hill is iconic, once you've see it that's it. Not bad, just not worth making an effort to see.

The tale of how the elephants 'trunk' touches the water was quaint. The location and view was interesting.

Some of our friends could not see the elephant trunk, even though our guide explained the similarities. It is not a spectacular sight. The best thing is get a picture of the locals wearing traditional dress with the "trunk" as background.

It is a pleasant enough walk and visit along the waterfront- but frankly it isnt the most engaging place-but is nonetheless a "must see" as far as city sites....But that said- it is interesting if you enjoy people and family watching....yet another place to see how friendly the Chinese can be...remember most tourists in China are the Chinese themselves!

Ridiculous price to see a rock with a hole.
This element of nature and symbol of the town of Guilin should be free, shame on the people making a business out of it.
