“Save your money”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

Unless you really want to pay for a boardwalk stroll, or have never seen a large rock formation, pass on this. It is quite an expensive entry fee for what it is. We feel our English-speaking guide should have guided us away from this one. Any other country we have visited with many more beautiful rock formations (Canada, France, Australia) does not charge people to come see them. Our guide said they have been putting the price up for this attraction every two years. Once inside the park, one can pay even more money to dress up in traditional costume for a photo, or go to a theatrical show.

“Beautiful scenery”

This place is almost a 'mascot' of Guilin. We can find the photos of the landscape in almost all of Guilin's souvenir trinkets. No complaint though as it is a very beautiful place.

“DUMBO in China”

Interesting result of nature resulting in probably a million years in the making from the one-time ocean that covered this area. The formation does indeed look like an elephant. Quite nice!

“Ok”

Pleasant park, nice stroll. Would rather have seen something more exciting. Think our agent dropped the ball on this one close to our hotel so no problem. Wondering why pay for this?
