Is it the name of the Shangri La that carries them as I can not see where the great rating are coming from!
We stayed for one night at the hotel, we arrived after 11pm, upon check in it really took them 25 minutes to sort the confusion out with breakfast included or not!
Honestly, if we knew the breakfast was going to be that mediocre, we would have just told them not to worry with it! Juices were watered down, no staff that we bumped into could speak English apart from LISA, whom I must admit was very helpful but stressed out as you could see she was the only person there who knows what she was doing! Communication is not a problem as we live in China and can speak Chinese BUT I had to assist in helping other foreigners ordering food as staff just pointed in the general direction and walked away! Very very bad service!
There was only one option for fish at the breakfast, it was covered in pepper! The lovely Lisa then ordered Salmon for me! Cheese platter was never filled up, so too some of the fruit platters until we complained about it.
Bedrooms were great, clean and no smell of smoking. Concierge always friendly.
