A very average hotel that is a long way from anything. Yes the subway is close but it is still a long way into town on a crowded subway. The subway station is set in what appears to be a development that has stalled.

Only a fraction of the staff speak English and even then not very well. The restaurant selection was poor and not all of them would charge a meal to your room and yet they would not accept foreign credit cards either. Breakfast selection at the buffet was only any good if you were there in the first hour, after that they were running out of a variety of items (particularly the european choices).

If you are attending a conference in the hotel then it is probably easier to stay here but otherwise I'd choose another option.

The rooms were fine and the wifi worked ok.

Very average experience, only stay if for convention, since it's location is so far away from the downtown etc.. The hotel is fine, clean, new and the rooms are clean and well equipped, but the staffing is not at the 5 star level, little english spoken, rude restaurant staff, and a typical factory style customer handling with little personalized attention.

Room Tip: Have a Chinese speaking person negotiate for best price or upgrades, and ensure you stay in tower 1, never tower 5.

The hotel actually consists of 2 blocks that flank the three convention center blocks. The rooms were very comfortable, new, clean, and well appointed with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel. Not good for families with young children as there is nothing to keep the young ones occupied. Ideal, however, for those attending meetings at the adjoining convention center, as it is located far from the downtown hotels. To get downtown for some shopping or sightseeing, there is a subway station ~300 meters in front of the convention center. This is the cheapest and most convenient mode of travel, with connections to many parts of the city including the Chimelong amusement complex. First cautionary note: bring enough RMB currency with you on your trip. Only USD, euro, or yen are good for exchange at the hotel. For any other currency, you'll need to find a Bank of China and bring along your passport. Don't count on paying for meals and purchases with your VISA or Mastercard (forget about AMEX) as many establishments in the convention center complex and downtown accept only Union Pay credit cards! At selected automated tellers downtown, you might be able to obtain RMB using your credit card. Second cautionary note, beware the airport taxis. A metered ride to the convention center should cost no more than 100 RMB including toll charges. But one colleague was charged a fixed 300 RMB for a daytime trip, and another had to fork out 500 RMB for a midnight trip, to the convention center hotel. Use the taxi counter at the front of the arrival hall, instead of approaching the cab drivers directly.

This is a massive convention hotel in the middle of nowhere, so while not horrible, I won't understand if someone actually raves about this. Check-in was average, and like some stingy establishments, they only give you 1 keycard instead of 2. The room is nothing to shout home about, but luckily they have a flat screen tv and standing shower. The other stingy act is they won't give you any more toothbrush and toothpaste, using the lame excuse they are going "green". How does 1 recycle toothpaste?? The breakfast and restaurant quality is of course pretty blah. As mentioned above, this is in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared to travel 45mins to the city

Stayed here for a conference at the adjoining convention center. Hotel is immaculate and the rooms are beautiful. Just beware it's a taxi ride just to get to the nearest metro station, and more than one cab wasn't even sure where to take me when I gave them the hotel name to get me back there.

Also, while the hotel rooms are air conditioned, the hallways and public spaces are not, so be prepared.
