Guangzhou hotel is indeed standing on a good location. For shopping, it is within the border of Haizhu Shopping area where shoes, clothes and accessories, either wholesale or retail are in abundance. More so for ladies wear than men I guess. Hair-clips are in great sparkling varieties. So are glittering mobile phone covers.
For transportation, the MRT Haizhu Square Station is just beside the hotel. So whether there rain or shine, we could just walk down and board line 3 to where-ever we want to go.
For food, there is the 24hours Mcdonald in Bin Bin Departmental Store and the hotel boasts of two good restaurants, one at the 3rd floor and the other at the 26th floor. Both serve good Chinese cuisine with friendly waitresses.
Then for a good massage at the massage centre on the 4th floor. The cost of one hour's massage (in June 2012) is RMB 80 to RMB 90 which is for good and reputable masseur.
Spa? is on the 5th floor of the same establishment but located at a different entrance.
Best of all is the ease of travelling to Baiyun Airport. The Airport bus stops directly beside the hotel and we could just catch a ride for RMB 20 per person.
So if you want a hotel which is at a good location this is it. The facade looks nice but the interior of it looks jaded. Nevertheless, it is comfortable to sleep and the aircon works. The lights are bright and the television set could access to many shows including movies and pay-xxx clips.
