The hotel is little out of the city but gives a pleasant stay there. Seems like a boutique hotel with a very nice and lucrative hotel lobby. Has a lake behind for a morning or evening walk. Service is also good.

A very grand hotel especially the entrance and a great restaurant quite far from the center so not much to do in the evening as television is all Chinese better/ no CNN or BBC , Please have a good book and a good bottle of wine that will ease the boredom in the evening unless you have a lot of work to do. The rooms are very plush however the morning to get a breakfast is almost like a battle ground to get a seat , very good choices but seating is poor and a lot of smokers in the dinning area . The outside is nicer to seat .Do not ever venture having there barbeque it is the worst food you will ever taste in your life.

Rooms are big, no non smoking as it is China. Grand old hotel must have been great in its day. Huge outdoor swimming pool can only swim after 15:00? There is also an indoor pool. A bit far from main places suited me for work. Fair price. Otherwise all fair

A Wonderful Place. Looks as good as it did when we came for a Honeymoon 10 Years Ago and was brand new. Looking forward to seeing all the changes in the complex since our last visit.
Still the very finest 5* Platinum Hotel we remember.

If you need to be in Guangzhou every day this is not the hotel for you. It will take on average 40 mins to drive in the city centre, The hotel is clean, spacious and has great scenery. Also breakfast was very good. Not all the staff speak English so be ready to use that iPhone app.
