I visited the gallery three years ago and was disappointed, but my visit this month was very different.
The sculpture was fascinating, comprising of the work of 12 different Chinese sculptors. The industrial boatyard pieces in a special exhibition were exciting and a change from the traditional pieces in Hong Kong's Museum of Art.
I still feel I'm missing some out there work, though. Where is it I wonder?
It's in a pleasant location on the banks of the Pearl River and near a very good French restaurant, La Seine.
