I checked in at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful in English. What you are paying for is a big bed and two TVs a shower and toilet (No bath). There is a kitchen, but no utensils , no plates, no cutlery. This makes the kitchen set up a joke, There is an electric kettle with a sort power lead that does not reach the power socket, so I couldn't make tea.

Big clean room in good location. Be advised you are renting a room, there are no other facilities.
I would look for other options at this price. They need to get the basics right

Room Tip: high up is best

Hotel room is nice & big! There are few convenient stores & restaurants near to the hotel.
Walking distance to Yue Xiu MRT station. Overall experience was good except I could smell ppl smoking in the morning...

There is really nothing spectacular about this hotel. It's in a great location though and the staff were always kind during our 6 night stay. If people were to complain, I would say it's because of the cleanliness, the inconsistency with amenities and housekeeping, and possibly because of the noise at night despite being on higher floors.

For the price we paid for a two bedroom apartment $140 USD per night, I think it was of excellent value to us. Next to the subway station, China Hotel, and some good local cuisine right next door, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Definitely get a room on a higher level to minimize the noise at night.

fairly walking distance to MRT Station (Yue Xia Station) from hotel, surrounding with old street near hotel with local foods, right opposite there's good chinese restaurant and japan restaurant, only 1 station to GuangZhou Railway Station for shoppings (remember to leave there early to avoid after work traffics) and few stations away to Second Workers station (a.k.a wedding street) to shops for wedding related stuffs.

Hotel room was nice, i love the bed... very comfy and clean, design feel a little bit dated but overall was good! the view of my room is bad... facing old buildings.. haha.
Wifi in room is not very stable, no FB in China, but you may use http://freevpnhosting.com/ to have your FB back to work, is free and easy to setup.

Have fun in GuangZhou. Cheers.

This hotel is very strange, the lobby is nice, but its more a "service apartment" than a hotel. The hotel's front desk was under staffed and their English and mandarin were both very poor, making it hard to communicate with them. The room was relatively clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. It was an okay stay until I found out that when they did the deposit, they actually charged me for the room, they said they would process the return for me (I was in a hurry when I was checking out), but two months later, they've yet to process it. I had a friend who stayed there and the hotel made the same "mistake", be careful when staying here!

The Hotel was alright, we stayed there while visiting the area for work-related business. The location is fine - a brilliant cafe on the opposite side of road. A short walk to get to Starbucks. Decor of Hotel was suprisingly nice for the price we paid. Only problem was our air-con didn't work and the staff ignored us when we asked for help. Someone would come to look and press some buttons, but it did not help. It was clearly broken.

If you plan to stay here, check the air con out before you unpack. We should just have kicked up a fuss and asked to change rooms.

Room Tip: Try out the air con before you unpack.
