The hotel is in the floors 11 to 14th of the building, but reception is in the ground floor. Friendly and helpful people in the reception. The room is a kind of a small apartment, with kitchen, that doesn´t work and has no dishes, but at least has a fridge working. The room is ok, with A/C, internet by cable, iron, tv with no international channels. The bathroom is also a good one, but the shower floor is a pain for the feet.
The hotel doesn´t have a bar or a restaurant, so for breakfast you can buy something in a 7-11 next door or cross the road and pay for a coffee as much as for a meal!
I would say there is a lack of maintenance in the room, but very comfortable bed and good hotel in general.

a hotel managed by white swan hotel opened in 2011. i stayed there in july, 2012.

the hotel is always offering 50% off for their 40 sq m. junior suite at around 55 dollars (at agoda).

after booking the hotel, the hotel further lowered the price by 10% before the date i checked-in (this time expedia has lower price).

the hotel is designed as apartment type hotel, just like springdale and ascott, but they didn't pass the fire safety requirements yet, so you are not allowed to cook inside the room.

i didn't find the location interesting. the hotel counter personnel told me there is a chinese restaurant nearby for breakfast. the restaurant is in another hotel. if you like chinese dimsum, this restaurant is fine. all dimsum are cooked to order.

i didn't try the restaurant across the street for lunch and dinner, because they looked "expensive".

subway entrance is 5 minutes away.

the hotel has no restaurant, there is a western bakeshop not far away, but i didn't visit it because it is at the opposite direction of subway station.

the room has 2 tv, one inside bedroom and the other one in the sala. air-con is fine, but the temperature is centrally controlled.

it is a cute little hotel, the person at the counter speak good english. A good hotel for business purposes, but you can find better hotel (more expensive) for vacation.

Room tip: 50% is usually given to junior suite, so choose junior suite.

This is one of a nice boutique budget hotels I stayed so far in Guangzhou. Good location with spacious room. Love the bathroom decor even there is some water stained on the wall of the shower area (bc the wall is black)
there is a 7-11 next door if you need anything. also nice japanese restaurant just opposite the road.
there is a few local chinese restaurants about 10 mins walk away. also starbucks at the china hotel (15 mins walk away). in that case you need a morning coffee, i suggest you to try out a bakery shop at Sino hotel (2 mins walk). it offers nice bakery stuff and coffee. staff there do speak english.
reception is very helpful but the bellboy is quite lazy (not very helpful at all)

Room tip: superior room will give you lots of space !!

Walking distance to metro station. Nearby has convenience store. Friendly staffs and hotel room furniture was clean and new. room is clean and spacious. Bed is super comfortable. Will come back to this hotel again. No wifi only lobby, but weak.

I am looking for the website of this hotel. Judging by the stunning room pics, location and the incredibly low rates, it is too good to be true. What is the catch?
