“Perfect weekday trip”
Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I visited the park on a Monday. We were warned that the park is swarmed on weekends. The theme park delivered well above our expectations. The rides are categorized into adult and child by height, and the adult rides are quite fun. The food choices are good, and prices well below Western standards at a theme park. We arrived around 1130 and were able to ride all of the adult rides by 1530 (with a lunch break). An excellent day trip for anyone interested in carnival rides. During our visit the wait was as short as three minutes for the popular adult rides. Easy to access via Line 3, and the park will provide a free shuttle to and from the subway station.

“World Class Fun Park!”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

Been a couple of times as I live near to this fun park. First place I think of to go when friends and family visit. When I first had the chance to go here I was reserved as many places lack attention to detail in China. Chimelong really can rival others around the world.

Sadly the day we visited the rain was a little in and off and so we weren't able to make full use of all the rides.
The park holds the rollocoaster with the worlds steepest incline - and wow, it looks terrifying! Not being a rollocoaster lover I did not try it, but I chose some of the smaller ones instead.
The stunt show was very impressive if not a little amusing to see westerners mouthing to a Mandarin script.
The lumberjack show......urm.....not too sure what that was about.
The park seems to go on forever, and has lots of food stands, rides for the thrill seekers and for those who prefer to take things a little more mellow. They also had a great brass band walking around doing covers of popular songs!
Great day out!

“Very Thrilling Rides”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

This park is small but the rides are very thrilling. The Dive Coaster is the ultimate roller coaster in the park. It features a 90 % drop from height and this is absolutely thrilling.

Please choose the timing of the visit wisely and do this on a weekdday in the morning where you do not have to Q for any rides. By afternoon, the crowds will start streaming in and there will be Q for the more popular rdes.

When I was there, several rides were under maintenance work or renovations. In any case, I had an enjoyable time there. There is also a section for te kids where all the kiddy rides are available.

Overall, a very good theme park for those who love rides.

You can do this to gether with the Chimelong circus and buy a ticket ticket which costs RMB 390 and I thnk it is a saving of RMB40.

Also, do not take the rides on a full stomach as I had seen people vomitting after some rides.

“Small but some fun rides”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

Went here with a combo ticket to the safari park. Luckily the day we went was rather quiet, so virtually no queues anywhere. As a warning for tall people (like me), a lot of the main coasters and thrill rides have a maximum height of 195cm. If you are around this height or taller, the park offers a discounted ticket of about 100yuan. Funny thing is though, the ride operators do not care about the height whatsoever. I am right on 195cm, but comfortable rode on all rides and the staff don't mind at all, and I got to do this for half price. The Countdown stunt show is a rip off of Waterworld from Universal, but still really cool. Best rid by far is the unoriginally named Dive Coaster. It's a B&M dive coaster (duh) and is extremely smooth and gets the adrenalin going big time...with a good crowd, you should be able to ride this many times in the day.
