The good thing about this hotel is because it’s only few steps away from the nabawi gate 15, very convenient for women’s entrance. But beware that the women entrance for rawdah is only from gate 25 so it’s a bit walk. There’s also bin dawood downstairs, it’s a supermarket that provides almost everything that you need.

Now what I don’t understand is why this hotel labeled as 5 stars hotel because it is far from it. I stay at medina oberoi before and it was 5 stars but this hotel definitely not. Tired room, outdated furnitures, dirty carpets, even when you enter the lobby you’ll feel like you’re travelling to the 90s.

Sorry but I definitely won’t return although I’m an accor plus member, I’ll stay somewhere else.

Overall stay was nice, hotel was at great location, staff was friendly. However being Accor Platinum member, there was no priority welcome, no welcome drink was no offered, no special amenities was offered mean other than room upgrade which was requested, no other facility for Platinum member was offered which was disappointing otherwise stay was excellent.

I will provide a fair review based on Pros and Cons. It has its pros and cons.
Pros:
- The best thing about htis hotel is its location to Haram! Its just right there, and you can easily go back and forth at any time of day andnight and for all 5 prayers or even for Tahujjad. Location is awesome!
- Its very safe for family and kids
- Their breakfast has a huge variety and they try to cater different nationalities for food for breakfast.
- Their managerial level staff was kind to speak with.
- Hotel was reasonably clean, and they will clean it when ever asked.
Cons:
- Now for the 5 star rating, on international level its not at all a 5 star hotel. Their rooms are not updated as the price they charge. for 3 nights we paid more then $2000 but the room standard didn't justify the cost paid.
- The washrooms could have been in a better shape overall.
- They don't provide microwave to warm up the food. Though they later confirmed that its not allowed from the government for any hotel in Saudia.
- They also wouldn't warm up anything for you. So you are stuck with cold food here.
- Most funny part was, they charge if you need some plates in the room! Yes they cannot send you even plates as you are their hotel guests !

Overall I may stay in this hotel again due to cleanliness and proximity to the Haram but at a lesser price if available. Thanks

Room tip: try to look for best price /dates options. Everyone paid a different price for the same room for the same time!

Hi we stayed in this hotel from 2nd of Jan to yesterday the 7th of Jan. Please be advised as advertised a 5 star hotel it is clearly not. I would rate to be a 3 star to 2 star at the most. Altho 5he Hotel is right on the door step of the Háram it is bulid in a shopping centre style. It has 3 or four restaurants and are quite pricey. We had a meal in one of them and the prices were very high yet the standard was extremely low. The table covers were need of ironing there were no napkins on the table the room looked like it needed a cleaner nd a good chef to boost it. The room we were given with a haram veiw cost 1400 euro for 5 night for four of us was OK. The windows needed cleaning they had children hand marks all over them. When you turned on the taps in the bathroom they sounded like they were going to explode.. The room on arrival could of been cleaner but we just got on with it. The in-house cleaners are a joke. They come in make ur bed and leave. By day 3 I had to complain reason been the bathroom had not been touched now in 4 day's and was in bad need of a clean. When the staff came to clean they tried telling me they do it every day until I called them in showed them the dirt then they shut up and cleaned.... Again the breakfast area also does have a nice variety of food but the dining area is not clean and lacks attention. This hotel is selling because of its location only but selling on a lie of been a 5 star. We just arrived yesterday to Hilton convention in mecca a 5 star hotel and boy it should be classed as a 6 star and here's the thing cost less 1200 for the same time stayed. Shame on this hotel ripping ppl off because of location..... Will not be returning in a hurry.....
