“A Wonderful Experince”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2011

This resturant is located in Al-Khobar with an amazing view of the Arabian Gulf. It has indoor tables for the meals and outdoor tables for the cofee shop. We visited this resturant with out any idea about it or what food is served their. How ever, the waiter was very helpful and explained every thing for us. First you will have salad and soup. Then every type of meat that can be eaten in Saudi Arabia wil be served including beef, chicken, shrimps, fishes, dears, Ostrich ,,, etc. Then you can have your desserts. All of these in the cost of 150 SR (40 US $) per person. Really it was a wonderful experince in this resturant were we tried some food for the first time. I recommend this resturant for people who love meat and like to try several meat at one meal.

“Carnivors' Valhalla!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2011

If you're a vegetarian, look away now.

This restaurant is nicely placed on the Khobar corniche, with good views over the Gulf. Romantic. However, you'll not be feeling too romantic after gorging on just about every animal it is possible to eat in KSA!

On arrival, you will be faced with quite a repsectable salad bar. DON'T OVERDO IT! What follows is a continuous stream of waiters bearing succulent barbecued pieces of lamb, beef, chicken, venison, duck, and probably more that I forgot. It is good stuff, and it will keep coming until you beg for them to stop.

It is fixed price, but if you are hungry you get good value. As for the romance - you'll just want to curl up under a boabab tree and sleep it off.

Don't miss it.

“AMAZING in every way”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2011

Everything about our experience was amazing. The restaurant is setting on the Persian Gulf with an Amazing view. The staff is GREAT. They were quick, friendly and ready to help out in every way. At one point my son only watermelon from the fruit salad and the water brought him a plate of watermelon he had made up for him. THAT was GRADE A service in my book.

They have a bar and coffee shop and you can sit at the gulf with a great view outside and sip your drinks. The price is not cheap it was 150 for full course and 90 for salad but its well worth it. We got to try things such as camel, ostrich and gazelle.

“Taste all animals in one place - BRASA!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2011

Well food lovers, BRASA is Mexican themed restaurant with no surprise served by excellent Asian waiters dressed up like cowboys and you can watch the sport cricket.. Yes this maxi can restaurant is very globalised. I was given extra attention because there are waiters from my home country Sri Lanka. Restaurant is rather spacious and have family section separate. Restaurant and tableware are excellent condition in terms of cleanliness. You can start with salads..typical salads but you can find some Mexican special...taste was really amazing.

Now is the time to taste almost entire Halal (Permissible in Islam) animals on earth. Now they will start bring you on a traditional BBQ skewers (chicken, beef, ostrich, turkey, lamb, camel..a lot more) and slice hot meat right in front of you one by one. You can ask any amount you want once you finish eating with that and the next will ready on the queue. They also got very delicious grilled prawns wrapped with beef bacon strip and smoked perfectly too. At one point we were served with grilled Pineapple coated with cardamom...oh that was tasted heavenly. You got desserts at the end just nothing much about it.

If you never tasted Turkey, Egypt...sorry, Ostrich, Camel etc you should visit this restaurant. But not revisit not worth.

I rated mostly based on Turkey, Ostrich, Camel, etc
