Queen's has had a number of occasions (both dining in and take-out) to provide for an above-par culinary experience - sadly, it has been lacklustre every single time.
The ambiance is average, the service is good, and the food is a tepid, unspiced gloop of uninspiring. The curries leave a lasting impression.....on your fingers by virtue of the large amounts of food colouring used. The grilled meats do not fare well either - usually dry and of questionable freshness.
Why, you might ask, have I tried a large % of the items on the menu on numerous occasions.......the answer - Location. It is accessible without having to traverse Khobar's intermittently nightmarish traffic.
Well, no longer will this restaurant, despite its location have my patronage. When chicken tikka masala, chicken jalfrezi and chicken 65 taste almost the same........Houston we have a problem!
