So for English speakers, Fartyk in Russian means "Apron". And what a taste treat. We are adventursome eaters so we went for some items we'd never tried. Who knew rabbit "en croute" (in pastry shell) could be so amazingly tasty- and with side veggies of tiny beets & asparagus - also the foie gras on pumpkin broulee was incredible. A salad of warm chicken liver and poached pear with tiny potatoes was also a hit. The service was friendly and attentive. English speakers have yet to discover this place, but do not miss it. So MUCH better than the pricey Russian restaurant called "Vodka". Can't wait for a return to Rostov so we can try other delicious menu items.
