It is a soviet-looking hotel from the outside, but inside it is actually quite nice and modern. Situated right near the train station, it doesn't have the best surroundings, but on the other hand - underground station is just next to it, which allows for easy connection.
The rooms are adequately priced and quite spacious, and wi-fi is of great speed. There seems to be constant problem with leaking baths though. The breakfast is nice, but go there early, as later there won't be much food left. Also note tha laundry service is free.
It does still have some attributes of the Russian hotels that are best to be avoided - for example, phone calls to the rooms offering escort service girls are no uncommon - but overall it is a nice hotel for business travel or leisure.
