We stayed two nights at this hotel. We were in the lowest grade of room but it was very basic and most important was not clean. The shower and washbasin had not been cleaned properly and there was layers of dust in the bedroom on the light fittings etc. The hotel advertises a comfortable lounge whichnis essential if you are staying a room without comfortable seating, however the lounge consisted of two armchairs in the lobby across from the reception desk. The beds were narrow and had very old mattresses and the bottom sheet did not cover the mattress. The rooms were not serviced during our stay, later we discovered a notice indicating that we should tell the administrator if we wanted the room to be cleaned......what sort of hotel is that!!!! One of reception staff was very helpful but the other one was arrogant. The included breakfast was very good and plentiful, but when I asked for honey with my pancake I was told that honey was not include, I said I would pay for it and they charged me the full price of pancakes with honey rather than a small additional charge for honey, not sure why they could not simply supplement honey for the jam which was included!
In general this hotel is in need of an upgrade......and there is no wi-fi.
It was very poor value for money when compared to the Hotel we stayed in in Moscow for much the same price, in that one the room was very spaces and comfortable and the bathroom was excellent and everything was clean !!!!

The hotel has an older and a newer part and the older part (where we stayed) had paper thin walls and non-existent views. Had we known, we would have paid the extra 15 euros to upgrade. Set on a hill, set back from the main street, it's isolated and quiet.

The best part of the hotel is the restaurant: the food is excellent and service fantastic. We had the same lady serve us breakfast, lunch and dinner, always with a smile. No English is spoken but the menu has been translated and, if you're really stuck, the receptionist can come by and lend a hand.

We were expecting a standard room but ended up in an economy room (we suspect we got bumped to accommodate some 'corporate' clients). Room was in an annexe and was simple but clean and comfortable, though might have been noisy if place had been busy.
Reception staff had limited English but were helpful. Breakfast average, dinner good.

I rate it "above average" using Russian hotel standards. We were there in the dead of winter and I think we were the only ones there. Our oom was quite nice, with log-cabin/soviet-lamp decor and the restaurant appeared clean. The food was very bland and many items were missing from the menu, but that is absolutely normal for Russia. The "bar" was not open and the single dial-up Internet PC was crawling, ad-ware infested, and extremely expensive. Great views.

Our large family, six of us, just returned from our trip to Siberia, Russia. We all decided to stay at the Terema hotel near Lake Baikal as it was a convenient location to explore the lake. It prooved our biggest mistake and brought us a lot of misery and aggravation. The rooms were quite comfortable with ensuire shower, however hot water supply was restricted. The restaurant food was OK, although the portion size was very dissappointing. A bottle of French wine was sour and they had no replacement.
On our second night a party of very drunk Russians turned the reception area into a pub at about 1AM. With hotels wooden walls we could hear everything as if they were talking in our rooms! They soon turned roudy and started singing and shouting fired by the alcohol. This continued until 5:30AM. We came out to talk to them several times but to no avail. The hotel's manager joined the paty during the night and refused to listen to her guests complaints. After the sleepless night we were forced to change the hotel. As we were informed by another manager in the morning, the hotel receives large number of Russian corporate guests who get drunk on regular basis. As the hotel receives large amount of its profit from these oranisations it simply ignores the wishes of single travellers.
