We stopped off at krasnoyarsk while on the transsiberian but didn't have much time so we asked Anatoliy to show us a bit of stolby for the afternoon. We did the half day tour to takmak rock. Weather was dismal! It snowed and there was heavy fog so when we got to the top there was only a view of fog! Despite this we had a great time with Anatoliy, we especially enjoyed his knowledge of the park and the history of Russia and Krasnoyarsk. We are quite interested in Russian history so we had heaps of questions on Russia in general and he gave us some really good insights. So don't just expect a hike.... you'll come back with some new thoughts and ideas on Russia! We highly recommend Anatoliy.
Side note: the hike up to takmak rock isn't very strenuous so get involved. A 81 year old (fellow tasmanian) has the record! If you want a more serious hike ask Anatoliy for the options.
