Korston is located about 2-3 kilometres from downtown, so you need to walk or take a taxi if you want to go there. Hotel itself is quite big, and has a conference centre and kind of a shopping mall. This mixture creates somewhat restless atmosphere, but the room we had was really nice. We did have a corner room, with views over town, which was really nice. The room was spacious, spotless clean and everything functioned. The breakfast is good, omelets or eggs made to your liking, good coffee etc. The complex has number of restaurants, and all of them we tried were good.
The 25th floor houses a restaurant/night club, and it is a must to see. The views are great! The menu is somewhat ordinary, and the food was overpriced. Be careful when you order wines, the extensive wine list has some incredibly expensive bottles.
We did get excellent service from the Guest Relations Manager! This young, helpful man really went out of his way to help us and managed to get tickets to the most exiting KHL ice hockey game. Thank you for this!
