We have stayed there only 1 night and we hadn't enjoyed it. Its a old style soviet hotel with pluses like - its very cheap. Everything was clean, but the shower have not working. The service quality is good

We stayed at the Ural in the beginning of September, booked the best room possible. The staff was courteous and pleasant. We had requested a quiet room prior to check-in and were happy to be accommodated(because there is some sort of night club next door and some rooms get loud noises at night)There was no central heat yet so we were provided the heater and an extra blanket for our two-room deluxe. The bed was not very comfortable, the mattress needed to be updated. The decor is quite basic, renovated but not very modern, more on a traditional side. We enjoyed a spacious bath tub and two separate bathrooms. The hotel also has a spa, we enjoyed a couple massages with Marina who was gracious enough to come up to our room and do the massage there because the spa massage room was undergoing renovations at a time. We had a breakfast included with our stay, which was pretty basic. Overall it was a pleasant visit, great location to be, right in the center of the city, perhaps a bit overpriced compared to other hotels in the area. As we found out there is also a sauna in the same building but there is no direct connection to get there through the hotel, which we found inconvenient, therefore did not try to explore it.

Room Tip: quiet rooms are all the way in the back

Nothing fancy, but comfortable beds, clean, convenient and good location. Most of the city is within walking distance. OK breakfast. Helpful reception. Very good massage at the spa. You a comfortable basic stay for a very reasonable price.

This hotel is rather popular and not too expensive for foreign guests. Ural hotel is located in the center of Perm and you may to reach the Kama river panorame in 15 min by walk. My room 336 was clean and cosy and as well as a resting room with bath. Soap, champoo, and towels are provided. This room was not luxurant but OK to sleep if you close windows from street noise. There was a small TV set and a refrigerator to store water. Especially, I liked breakfasts that are served in Stroganov Votchina restaurant with good choice of meal a volontee.

Booked an economy class room, it was very average, nothing good and nothing bad to say about it.

The hotel is large and the interiors are comfortable. Owners did a good job renovating everything inside this old soviet hotel, if it was one.
