Wow the eggs, silver, gold, jewells, and other treasures in the musemum are just WOW no words can describe the wealth these people had and displayed was just extraordinary . Thete is a very nice cafe attached and the obligitory gift shop
I have heard about them in the past and was not really too interested in these items until I visited the Faberge Museum.
Just outstanding, what more can you say.
If you are in St Petersburg go and look at this place, you will be amazed. These eggs take over a year to produce. The artwork and detail defies description.
Definitely one of the highlights of our 3 days in St. Petersburg. No photos do any of these treasures justice. You must see them to appreciate the artistry. They are truly magnificent! Even though there are less than a dozen Imperial Eggs displayed, there’s much more to see and admire in this beautiful museum. Put it on your bucket list. You won’t be sorry.
located in a beautifully refurbished building, one is thunderstruck by the opulence of the building and the variety of the items presented. Yes, the famous eggs are amazing but there are so many incredible artistic items to be seen, all.
beautifully presented. Photos are allowed. Allow plenty of time to view. One is left thinking that no wonder there was a revolution!
Was never really interested in these eggs.... not until I saw them in this museum! The workmanship, colours and thoughts put into these eggs were both fascinating and intriguing. Captivated by the beauty of each egg, I hope to own one of it, albeit a fake.
