This small, boutique hotel offered a peaceful sojourn from bustling Nevsky Prospekt. The room was small by North American standards, but larger than some European hotels we stayed in on our trip and very well decorated and very clean. It is extremely well situated, within walking distance from major historic sites, shops and restaurants. We were able to take the subway to the train station on our departure. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Most spoke good English, though some of the restaurant staff had more difficulty, but they would bring another staff person to help if they didn't understand. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and definitely recommend it. From: Gatineau, Quebec Canada
