The location of the Pushka is excellent - on a canal and only a few minutes walk from the Winter Palace and many of the interesting and fascinating sights of the city, as well as much of the best eating and shopping.
The hotel is smaller, but very comfortable and welcoming, with the friendliest and most helpful staff I have met anywhere.

Vasily and Anna were outstanding. They gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and nighttime activities and were very patient with all of our questions. Less than 5 minute walk to The Hermitage and 10 minute walk tonChurch of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood. Excellent breakfast and overall accommodations

Excellent relatively small boutique hotel. Ideal location , 3 minutes walk from the hermitage museum, 5 min wlak form the main avenue, Nevsky Prospekt. Old building overlooking the Moika canal. Many restaurants nearby. Staff extremely friendly and attentiv, giving you personalised welcome and service.
Nice and medium size room, very well fitted,. Rooms overlooking the canal have a wonderful view, but those sensible to noise should take a room overlooking the courtyard, since tourist boats on the canal can make unpleasant noise all day long.

We willl definitvely choose this hotel for our next visit to this incredibly beautiful city

Room tip: rooms on the cana can be slightly noisy during day time

What a great place to stay! We had a well appointed, large room with a view of the Moya River. The location could not be bettered- walking distance to the main attractions, shopping areas and good restaurants. The staff deserve a special mention for their friendliness and competency and a special thankyou to Anna at reception who went out of her way to help with a medical issue.

Room tip: Third floor with river view

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Super position just a few minutes walk from Hermitage on a quiet canal street. Pretty good value given the position in the city centre.
It is a shame that breakfast room is only just big enough and you have to go out of front door and into restaurant next door (not great in rain!), but the breakfast was pretty good. As a mum with 4 teenager children the apartment room with 3 double bedrooms and sofa bed in kitchen area was great.
