A sad looking baby pig in a wooden hatch "welcomes" you inside to this Ukrainian restaurant. The atmosphere is quite ordinary with the TV on and a lady duo occasionally visiting the dining quarters, singing Ukrainian songs in a not-so-enthusiastic tone. Also the waiters speak only a few words of English.
For our dinner we order a started plate of cold meat including tongue, ham and sausage with some vegetable garnish. Tongue and ham were all right (and not special at all) but the sausage was simply too greasy. It could be just the thing for a vodka enthusiast yet to us it was like eating pure fat... My wife had beef stroganoff and I had the beef fillet roll filled with creamy mushroom sauce. The beef roll was overcooked, hence dry and chewy. The stroganoff, which is a standard Russian dish, was on the poor side as well, served in a rather small portion and tasted just average. If you feel compelled to go to this place, do yourself a favor and do not order wine, for they have a very poor and overpriced selection. Despite the overall lack of quality, the check was certainly above average. We paid something like 2000 Rubles. In my humble opinion, I would say avoid this place if you can.
