“Ideal location for a pre theatre tea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

We found this place by chance after we had got the bus to the Mariinsky Theatre before seeing the ballet, we had expected a bustling area and were suprised how quiet it was, thankfully after a couple of minutes walk we came to Romeo's and were delighted with our meal.. perfectly cooked pasta and a wonderful fruit tart with good service, highly recommended

“Quaint place for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

We were treated by our tour company to lunch here. It was excellent. We started with vodka and blini with caviar. Also had the herring with potatoes. The desserts are homemade there and not to be missed.

“Delicious local and Italian cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

It was a rainy afternoon and just happened to go in for shelter. But sat and ordered their pumpkin soup which was too good and rest followed. Nice comfy small restaurant with English speaking staff and real good and reasonable food.

“Good for the Marinsky theatre.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

Very near to the ballet. Offers a good range of pastas dishes and salads with complimentary bread. The local beer is of good quality and very cheap and they have a brilliant selection of French wines. Worth a quick look.
