I went to Jerome on two occasions during a recent business trip. Has a casual french bistro atmosphere, comfortable place to spend time and reasonably priced. And then the food came out:
Tuna tartare, chopped fresh as could be, on a bed of diced apples, with avocado and arugula on top - incredible.
The spaghetti was cooked al dente, the perfect bolognese sauce (I am an Italian foodie and the bar is extraordinarily high here)
My associate ordered a piece of meat and a salad both of which were cooked to perfection.
I can't remember the last time I had a meal so fresh, cleanly executed, and brilliantly prepared. I ate the next day at the fancy Michelin-chef french place at the W around the corner, and smiled ironically that I'd take Jerome over that any day.
Without having tried even a quarter of the restaurants in SP, I would say Jerome is the high water mark. Chapeau!
