Owner description: The Yusupov Palace is a unique architectural ensemble of styles from the XVIII to XX century. Cultural monument acclaimed as an "encyclopedia" of St. Petersburg aristocratic interiors. The palace and manor complex were built over two centuries and features the work of prominent Russian and foreign architects. Today the Yusupov Palace is one of the few aristocratic mansions where you can experience ambiance of luxurious life of the Yusupov family. The astonishingly beautiful interiors, restored with the work and talent of St. Petersburg's restoration artists, welcome everyone.

The administrator should believe you are as rich as the prince family and ransom you for very few to see except the place where Rasputin was shot, which only a few cares about

Considering this family were not tsars, the opulence is still amazing. Famous for the site of the assassination of Rasputin I would classify it as a must see.

Enjoyed hearing the history of the place and the recreation of the assassination. The bathrooms were smelly.

On my last day of the tour we spent a good part of the morning here. This is an incredible palace and a has a fantastic history involving one of Russia's most prominent families since the time of Ivan the Terrible and was also the place where Rasputin was finally killed. Photography is permitted but only by purchasing a pass. This is just one of the most spectacular gems in Russia.
