So close you can touch the art and did but you should not they get a little upset - lol - unbelievable big and the collection is amazing I think it is the largest in the world. This is a must for anyone to see in there life time

While in may take more than a year to cover every room in the Hermitage, spending three hours there will be a remarkable experience. The art is unrivaled anywhere in the world. The breadth of art is remarkable. Make sure you have a good guide.

Total chaos. In disrepair, no humidity control, wood windows rotting, no organization to seeing everything, easy to get lost, ticket buying online was no advantage, as the gal was not there and the others disliked you going ahead of them when they had waited for a long time. Much of the art was gone - I hope to other controlled museums.

Too many huge tour parties. We will go again but another time of year. It was hard to see some of the famous art works as people were so crowded in taking photos. The museum was far too crowded and hot.

Had heard about this museum but was not prepared for the beauty and the amount of arts. We liked all the arts but disliked the waiting time. Too many people at once. Thank God our guide knew of another place to let us in.
