Gogol is billed as serving "classic Russian dishes" and being somewhat like going to Grandma's house for dinner. While dishes included many typical Russian ingredients and flavors, execution and presentation seemed a bit more sophisticated than Grandma's might be. Pelmeni were quite good and everyone, including people we spoke to at nearby tables, enjoyed the food. Service was efficient, if not especially friendly. Restaurant is divided into small rooms that are a bit dark ... but I guess a bit like Grandma's house.
