Stayed a couple of days with 2 others. The hotel is perfectly located, near all tourist sites. The room is very good for the price. The staff were fantastic, very friendly!!! Before coming I read that it was difficult to find the elevator but a sign lets you know it is around the corner.

* if you can find you way in, you are doing well
* Entrance is actually in Livogsky Street. Look for the Barbershop sign, entry via black wrought iron gates
* Poorly signposted, only in Russian except a small brass plaque
* Entry via a dingy back lane, up one set of stairs, lift for 2, then walk another set!
* Excellent position right on Nevsky/Livogsky Corner
* Once inside it is quite nice, like a mini Hermitage with lots of paintings and each room named after someone special
* Good sized room
* Bed was large but not that comfortable
* Skylights and windows did not have any blackout curtains so difficult to sleep during white nights. No views as windows in ceilings
* Bathroom upstairs and light switches in difficult positions
* Large Bathroom, good shower pressure
* Display case with elegant crockery, cutlery and glassware for our use was a nice touch
* Staff helpful, not all spoke English but all worked well with Google Translate as our interpreter
* Breakfast was simple but quite nice. The goulash style veggies were particularly tasty.

great location for visiting SPb. Nicely decorated interior. Very noisy at night, ear plugs are strongly recommended. No car parking. Decent breakfast to start the day. Elevator exists but difficult to find if you come there first time.

Hôtel very Nice, and staff very Nice and compréhensive. The room was quiet and clean. There is à lift to avoid climbing 5 stairs. breakfast very good. Nice paintings every where in hotel even in the room. M'y husband was ill, the staff let us stay in room later than usual. Well located hotel. Very good adress.

4.5/5. Great service. A very nice loft-style room, well-stocked with tea. Decent variety (sweet/savoury) for breakfast. Very good value for money, especially given the hotel's central location. The only issues were the street noise, even though we were on the fifth floor, and the fact that the building had no elevator. My legs looked hella good by the end of the trip, but I did hate having to climb up 5 flights of stairs several times a day.

Nevertheless, would recommend!
