We stayed here in July 2016. The staff are amazing. No matter what time you come or go someone is always available, ready and happy to help with anything; even when being picked up by a taxi at 2:30am! The front door is always locked so you have to ring the bell to get in. We liked the feeling of us, as well as our belongings, being safe in a big city.
The location is great. Only about 7 blocks from the nearest metro station. And a big shopping area just past that. There are several small markets as well as restaurants close to the hotel. And a cute small park across the street.
The rooms are really big and clean, including the bathroom. So very comfortable! Breakfast is simple but fine. We had a choice of eating in the lobby area or having breakfast brought to our room. We did both. It was very nice. We enjoyed it both ways.
We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in St. Petersburg. If you stay, be sure to write your review in their guest book and have your picture taken. It was great fun reading reviews and looking at pictures from previous guests!
