This place looked good from the exterior and the interior is nicely decorated. We placed our order and waited for the main course to arrive. After a prolonged wait our dishes arrived but one dish had no vegetables which had been requested. When I pointed this out my dish was left in front of me with the words "afew minutes". My wife finished her meal some while before anybody came to tell me " 1 minute". I cancelled my order and asked for the bill. The staff obviously found this amusing and were laughing inside the kitchen. No manager appeared and the bill was paid and we left. The food we received was ok but the plate was cold. All round a bad experience with no apology or sign of remorse from anyone in the restaurant. You have been warned.

We really enjoyed the Mediterranean ambiance and great service--in addition to the wonderful food. We enjoyed every course (Italian foods ordered). A most fun, leisurely lunch!

Alla Tours included this restaurant in their Grand Tour of St. Petersburg. It is a combination Russian and Mediterranean cuisine. Our Russian lunch started an excellent cabbage soup that included chicken, potatoes and other vegetables. Our lunch was a grilled chicken breast with potatoes and vegetables and ice cream for dessert.
The restaurant is on two levels. It seems to do a lot of business with tour groups. The restaurant was quiet until a loud group arrived.

We were celebrating 8th of March days in this restaurant - a company of 6 mature well travelled people, looking for a comfortable atmosphere, nice food and of course service. i was a bit late and was met by the administrator, who even didn't make an effort to smile (the most smiley person was the lady in the cloak room). Instead of saying hello and smiling the administrator met me with the words - Do you have reservation for tonight? i didn't regret at that moment that i had! We ordered quite a lot of starters, both cold and hot... in 30 minutes time the waitress brought us our main courses! She could have noticed that some of started had not been even touched, but was determined to put the main courses on the table. After some discussion with the administarator the dishes were taken away and the waitress was changes for another girl. She showed up with a smile and started taking orders for main courses again.. though we hoped everything had already been written. Anyway, she returned THREE times to us to clarify the things, as she couldn't put down the orders properly... it was starting looking like some strange farce...Now the band.. Life music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other - it resembles me soviet restaurants with chanson music....
Now food.. the food was OK, but nothing special especially for the price of 800 roubles for 2 small pieces of grilled tuna resting on a tiny piece of lettuce - it was positioned as the main course... all side dishes should be ordered separately otherwise you may leave hungry. This visit proved once again that the best restaurants are not the ones that near the Hermitage! or may be not even in our city... unfortunately! Wish we have something compatible with good european restaurants in the future.. so you don;t have the feeling of wasted money.. for the bill of about 20000 rbl (500 euros) you can have a nice dinner in Europe in a good restaurant and you will really remember it with pleasure.. not the case with this place.
