Description: Molly Gwynn's pub is not just a place, where you can eat and drink well, but it's a sort of a community, friendly atmosphere, familiar faces, unconcerned chats and lots of nice surprises. Molly Gwynn's on Pyatnitskaya is located in the heart of Moscow. It has classic English styled interior: a long bar, comfortable sofas and chairs with high backs. In the Molly Gwynn's menu you'll find traditional English dishes, Italian cuisine lovers can enjoy different kinds of pastas, and those who likes it to be a bit more spicy, can try Mexican food in here.

“Shocking, dirty and very, very poor”
Reviewed March 26, 2011

I'd been to a number of other "irish" pubs in Moscow and very few, if any, come close to the real thing. Katie O'Sheas would be a good standard though Molly Gwynn's was hell. I went eagerly with 2 former colleagues who sang it's praises only to find broken urinals, rude staff (though they at least tried to smile) and more golddiggers than in gold rush California. If you enjoy being propositioned by girls in for the regions for the week, or eating cardboard food, while paying through the nose for average beer, this is for you. If you want to avoid the wannabes and parasites of Moscow life, while not spending a fortune in unpleasant surrounds, then go elsewhere. Moscow doesn't do normal, this is as Moscow as you can get.

“One of the worst bars in Moscow”
Reviewed September 3, 2010

I have lived in Moscow for seventeen years and have seen the pub/bar/restaurant scene grow from just two places, Rosies and Shamrock, to today when an Irish type pub is on every corner. I have at various times sampled hundreds of them and I can confidently say that whilst Mollies in Novi Arbat is reasonable and Pyatnitskaya ok the Mollies at Krasni Presni is absolute total c**p. It has the most amazingly ignorant bar staff, the worst service and for this only the standard interior.
Do not let anyone persuade you to visit Molly Gwynns at Krasnopresnenskaya it is s**t. If you are in that area go to John Bull 300 metres up the road or 16 tonnes at 400 metres. You will be better served and in more pleasant surroundings if you buy an out of date beer from a kiosk and sit on the kerb in the rain with the tramps to drink it.

“Simply the best!”
Reviewed October 23, 2009

I've been living in Moscow for over a year now and I gotta say this is simply the best place to hang out, drink beer, and eat. Food is really good (recommend buffalo wings, chicken quesadillas, fish and chips - burgers hit and miss). Best selection of beers in Moscow, as some have already said. Service is good (a little higher than average Moscow restaurants). Dancers on Thursdays (New Arbat), Fridays (Krasnopresnenskay), and Saturdays (Pyatninskaya) - 4 beauties, risque - but their clothes stay on. Very smoky on these nights. Prices are a bit high, even for Moscow. 0.5 L beers are $9, appetizers $15, and full meals will run you about $30 - $50. If you become a regular, you can get a discount card good at all Romashka Management restaurants. If you're looking to hook-up with locals, this isn't your best option. Recommend Hog Dog or Night Flight instead. Holiday parties are a MUST attend.

“Could be good for night...”
Reviewed August 23, 2008

Could be good for night drinking, but it closes at midnight. Awful food (never eat there unless you are dyeing from hunger). Always crowded in the evening, you can wait for a table for half an hour.
