I was eating out there twice with business colleagues and I was once celebrating there New Year's Eve with my family and friends. Everything was great, though it is not a very spacious place to have a proper dancing party. As for the prices, they have always been sort of elevated, not what I and my friends (we are all muscovites) would normally pay for the dinner. Drinks are particularly costly. The main thing to me was, somehow, that the place offered quite an amazing service and the staff every time showed great attention to their guests. You also can't go wrong visiting the place with a girlfriend or wife. Beside food and drinks and disco on occasion (such as New Year party), Shinok offers you a sort of museum of a Ukrainian /Sothern Russian countryside's lifestile. There you can see cows, hens etc in their "natural" invironment, looked after by "authentic" peasants and hostesses of Ukrainian /Southern Russian farms (the animals look real relaxed and cared of, not like in the Moscow Zoo)).
