Everything here was flawless. Great food, superior service, classic atmosphere, it was a very memorable evening and a truly Old World experience.

One of the best meals i had in a long time + impacable service + wonderful surroundings.

Very good traditional style Russian dishes, i tried borsh which was great and a selection of russian specialties - all very tasty and worth recomending. All topped up with Creme Brulee - russian style and flavoured vodka shot made the evening unforgettable.

Leave for a special occassion as its one of the best restaurants in Russia so bit pricey.

Very typical Russian, which was great to experience. Amazing place, beautifully refurbished, service great, the food nice and certainly very good try, although one would expect a world class food for the price, which is not. Worth visiting but manage your food expectations.

Especially nice in Christmas time. Really good place for any meal.
Valet parking, historical center, best value in this place. Everything perfect, especially in room with openfire place. But price in this area not so reasonable)

We were only in Moscow for three nights and so decided to treat ourselves here, and we were not disappointed. Every part of the meal was excellent, even down to the bread. We both had sterlet fish for mains which is sort of local and new to us. It was well presented and delicious, and so were the starters. The restaurant is quite expensive - we paid 8700 roubles for two inc wine.
We were going to book for the (recommended) library floor but our hotel said there was a dress code (which we could not make) and so we ended up on the ground floor. It was OK, but bear this in mind if you want to eat upstairs (but we never checked if they adhered to this).
