I loved the place, the service and the food. It really worth what it costs. Strogonoff and the desserts are the highlights for me!

Cafe Pushkin is one of the most famous restaurants in Moscow and one step inside and you can see why. The decor and atmosphere is something of another time. It was such a treat just to be there. The menu is like a book. Many, many choices. There is a whole page in the menu with water options, another page with cigar options and yet another with cigarette choices. I enjoyed a sampler of traditional Russian starters and the beef stroganoff for dinner. It was fantastic. Everything in Moscow is very expensive and this fine restauraunt is no exception. Don't go if the prices will worry you too much or you won't enjoy it.

All nice and delicious! Don't miss whenever you are in Moscow and just a few step from Metro, especially Macaron and Tiramisu cake.

We were waiting for a nearby museum to open, so we decided to stop here for breakfast. We're so glad we did -- got to enjoy the lovely atmosphere, take a nice picture, have a tasty breakfast, and the price was very affordable. They seated us away from the area where the Russians were seated, and I had the feeling this was intentional, as the Russians were much cooler looking than my husband and I. :) Be sure to stop in the downstairs bathroom -- very pretty.

the décor is very cozy and harmonious. the waitstaff are very friendly, making a concentarted effort to please. I was recommended a special platter with a samples of traditional Russian dishes. The portion was very big, could not finish all. The food was fairly tasty albeit being slightly overpriced, however definitely worth every penny especially for the glorious ambiance. The paintings and the artwork in the restaurant give a very majestic feel.
