This hotel is perfectly adequate. The rooms are pleasant enough and the restaurant is good. The bar area is pretty small especially when there are large tourist groups in. The barman (Viktor) is very good and extremely attentive. Most of the staff speak excellent english. It is expensive but I think that is just Moscow for you.

Moscow
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Moscow during a three day visit in September 2010. The hotel was excellent and ideally situated across the street from the Metro station. The views of the city from the upper floors are great. The hotel buffet breakfast was delicious and others on our tour had an enjoyable meal in the hotel restaurant in the eveing, albeit expensive (£44 for two with alcohol)! A small Tibetan Restaurant, only a block away, served lovely inexpensive food and local beers. There is a 24 hour convenience store next to the hotel entrance that sells everything you might need.
Three stops on the yellow line plus two stops on the red line took you to Red Square, the Kremlin and St Basil’s Cathedral. Buy a multi journey Metro ticket at the ticket office. Try the monorail between Timiryezevsaya and VDNKh (close to the Conquerors of Space Monument) metro stations. The monorail ride takes you right past the Radio Tower. Some of the metro stations are works of art, especially Mayakovskaya. Everything in Russia is more expensive than the UK, so take lots of Rubles on your visit.

Stayed here as part of a package tour to Moscow & St Petersburg. Arrived here and the check-in was somewhat disorganized; the elevator is small and there are only 2 elevators in a hotel that has multiple tour groups staying there. The front desk was not overly helpful. I left a jacket in my room after check-out, called within hours of check-out and it was no longer in the room and the manager and front desk staff could care less... The buffet breakfast was good. The location is convienent, next to the Metro (which you must explore if visiting Moscow) - the hotel is not in the city center but close to the Metro (across the street) so you can get to the Kremlin within 15 minutes or less. Not many options for food near the hotel, which made finding dinner on the day of arrival a bit frustrating. The rooms were comfortable and nice.

As other reviewers here, the first thumb-up I have to give to this hotel is its convenient location- right outside Rizhskaya metro station, overlooking the bustling Prospekt Mira.

The room is basic and simple, but is comfortable enough.

Breakfast offered at the Executive Lounge is minimal- yogurt, croissants, cereals and coffee. But it's good that they had unlimited water and soda for those in need.

The thing I dislike about this hotel is its outrageous internet fees. In this day and age, free wifi should be available at most hotels, especially a large international chain like the Holiday Inn.

The hotel was overall in a good condition! The staff spoke good English. The breakfast was a large buffet and well presented. The rooms were clean. I would return if in Moscow again.

The best three star hotel that my wife and I have ever stayed at.Spacious rooms with full air-conditioning (temp outside was in the thirties )..Daily housemaid visits with top-up of towels, toiletries, tea, coffee,sugar..Kettle and Hairdryer is provided..The lobby area is well staffed by helpful and courteous english speaking staff..We stayed for four nights before moving on to St Petersburg for short visit and were allowed to leave excess suitcase for pick-up upon our return for a final night stay..No charge for left luggage..The hotel is conveniently a few minutes walk to Metro and twenty four hour supermarket..We were very grateful for the help of Sergey at lobby desk on several occasions..We would certainly stay with them next time we are in Moscow and would reccomend the hotel to anybody looking for somewhere to stay...Phil & Pat

It is a little bit outside of central part of Moscow but there is a metro station named as RIZHSKAYA where it is nearly 100 meters away. The cleanless is superb. Everytime we return to the room, the beds are so flat like it is ironed again. English-talking receptionists are okay also where it is hard to communicate with Russians.
