This was my first time to Moscow as a guest of the EasyJet inaugural flight. It was only a one night stay but it was clear that the hotel was well managed and all staff were trained to provide good service and to be helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped and it was a pity I did not have more time to enjoy the facilities. This hotel is perfectly situated for Red Square, the Kremlin and shopping malls. A very interesting city to visit this hotel is perfect if you can afford it

Room Tip: All rooms seem well equipped and it does not seem to matter where to stay. Access to the CLub Room is preferable

Not much to say here... Perfect in all aspects. Rooms spacious, all luxury amenities, very business friendly. In room dining standards very high regardless of time. Same quality at 3 in the afternoon and three in the morning. Location of this hotel is in the heart of Moscow, next to the Kremlin... If you have meetings in Moscow out of the hotel this can be frustrating.

Go to O2 Lounge for a drink on the top floor... Lovely views of red square.

Breakfast could be a little bit more "rich" and internet connection a little bit more faster.

Service through out amazing.

The Ritz is by most accounts the nicest hotel in Moscow. I have only stayed at one other but I can confirm it is very nice indeed. My room are beautifully decorated with rich wood accents. I had a large window with a view of the nearby street.

The lobby area is comfortable with nice sofas and wing backed chairs. The lobby bar is tucked further inside and is also nicely decorated. The O2 lounge on the top floor has an amazing view of the Kremlin but will set you back a few kopeks for a drink. The staff are all helpful and friendly and the service is quick when requested.

Like all of Moscow everything about this hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for. Most importantly its location next to Red Square is unbeatable.

If you can afford it stay here.

Room Tip: Ask for of the view of the square or at least not an interior courtyard if possible.

Stayed for one night on business trip.
Location absolutely brilliant, 2 minutes walk to the Red Square. You do have to walk through metal detector to enter the hotel but I did not find this threatening in any way.

Staff polite, reasonably friendly however did everything you ask for and very quickly. Called the reception for ironing board at 6 am and got it delivered to my room within literally 2 minutes.

Rooms are luxurious, even my standard room was huge. Big corridor leading to main room which had desk, three chairs, all very opulent and stylish. Lights and curtains remotely controlled from your bedside table.
I always thought Sofitel hotels have extermly comfortable bed however this was something else. Never slept better in hotel, amazingly comfortable beds.
Bathroom is actually three rooms, all in marble, one with bath and sink, one with walk in rain shower and one with the toilet and bidet.
Mini bar had extensive choice of drinks and snacks however prohibitively expensive.

Used rooftop bar only during the day and to be honest don't see what the fuzz is all about. Granted the views are nice but didn't find the bar inviting.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing and one the best breakfast I ever had in any hotel. Everything from smoked salmon, haddock to full range of hot food and caviar. Everything you could wish for was there.

Obviously all this comes with high price tag. Cannot comment on room rate as paid for by company, however 2 Baileys, 2 Hot Chocolates and 1 Small beer in bar downstairs £55.

If you can afford it, definitely recommended.

The experience I expected from a Ritz Carlton Hotel. Tastefully appointed rooms, staff was m and welcoming from the doorman, club lounge staff and staff at O2. Had a small problem in my guest room, it was handled effectively and efficiently with great follow up. Great location to Red Square, Kremlin, and Bolshoi. The hotel is quite expensive but would return if I have the opportunity. Highly recommended.
